Your Professional Portrait Session

Awesome that you are getting ready to have a fresh LinkedIn or work photo!

Remember to fill up the session form as it’s key for me to get to know you way before the photoshoot day. If you haven’t fill it up yet, please click here.

I am excited to capture you and making sure you look great for work, play or for your own business. Lifestyle portrait photography is fun, emotive, captures the honest and real you as it should be. My goal here is to make you feel good about yourself so that your best self comes through in the photo. I am all about capturing your true essence and personality. I will also definitely guide and style you in the shoot to achieve the best composition and photos.

Here are a few tips to help you prepare for your session with me. Please, take your time to read them.

Location: Together, we will decide on the best location for your photos. I have many locations that I love to shoot at regularly but I am always open to new locations as well. You should choose a location that fits your style, personality and more importantly, your work. I can help you along with this decision.

Some of the locations I love to do the photoshoot in Singapore are:

  • CHIJMES

  • Raffles Hotel outdoor area

  • National Gallery Singapore

  • Around MICA building on Clarke Quay

  • Clarke Quay

  • Emerald Hill

  • Asian Civilization Museum

  • Tiong Bahru

It highly depends on the nature of your work, so please, give this some thought as to where is best suited for you.

Time: If we are shooting outdoors, my favorite time to do the photoshoot is between as humanely early as possible for everyone and 9:30am. If we are doing golden hour shoots, it’s typically after 5:30pm. We know how hot and humid it gets here in Singapore and hence, these are the hours that’s perfect and manageable still. My photos turn out the way they are because of the timing as I have mentioned above.

What To Wear: Wardrobe should be comfortable and reflect who you are and your role. If you have to don a white shirt and a blazer, by all means, bring those together in the session. We can then do a few shots with and without. I am also happy to consult you directly on wardrobe. Just let me know.

More importantly, the talent, YOU: No one is fond of being told and forced to smile and pose. I know it’s hard and I get that but take your time to relax so I can capture you at your best. I want you to simply “be” you. I will chat with you during the session, be silly and tell you that you look good and beautiful all the time, because quite simply, you are! We will have breaks and rest time in between so not to worry! Relax and enjoy the experience :)

Please arrive on time or be ready to start on time: Remember, your session is scheduled according to light.  It is important that we start on time.  Please plan for traffic or parking constraints.  It's best to arrive early.

I can't wait to capture you in your best self!  Do not hesitate to ask me any questions you have. See you soon!
